Dear Kate; I was born in 1949 at 10917 Otsego Street, and grew up in the house that used to stand at 5257 Bellingham Avenue (now an apartment building). BTW, Bellingham wasn’t even paved until I was 5. I graduated from North Hollywood High (go Huskies!). My dad had the Texaco station at Magnolia and Tujunga, across from the park, for 35 years (now a 7-11). I now live in Santa Cruz, but I’m proud that this event is happening in North Hollywood.
