  7. We really enjoyed participating in the yes we carve pumpkin activities and can’t thank the creators enough for coming up with a fun & family friendly way to share the enthusiasm for our candidate as well as rocking the vote in a positive and enjoyable way. We looked through pages and pages of pumpkins and loved so many of them!

Great job everybody and please, please get out and vote tomorrow rain, sleet, or snow and keep in mind that the long lines mean more votes for Barack. Keep your chin up and be patient. I felt tears in my eyes for the first time as I cast my vote last week – expect great things over the next four years.

    Best,

  9. Kim,
You did a fantastic job, as did everyone. Wish I had known about this sooner so I could have cheerleaded up a few more votes for ya.
    Kudos to all participants!

Muchos kudos to Barack Obama for restoring faith and hope in American politics.

  13. I’ve been curious at how disappointed I’ve felt since the ten finalists were announced. I expected that an “old fashioned pumpkin carving contest” would really end with “the best” carvings. Yes, I am disappointed that mine was not among the ten (you can see why I might have imagined that it would be at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/duncan55s/).
Obama WON!!! we were not robbed this time. I think that my disappointment here was amplified by my fear that the “best” would not be rewarded in the election; that “powers that be” would exercise their agenda and our dream would be snatched from us again.
Thank you for creating this forum and giving so many of us this way to feel connected to one another.
